OUR CURRENT PROGRAMS
The DOME EXPERIENCE programs are individually produced with each concert series introducing new thematic material while retaining the original artistic vision of incorporating composition, choreography, and cinema/cutting edge technology. The thematic material is inspired by Social Issues, Climate Change, Ecosystems, and current trends.
Our current program is entitled "Rhythm of Water" and will explore the scope of issues related to rising sea levels, drought, wildfires, climate change and pollution of our oceans. We will be premiering new works for the final date of our residency at the Bronx Museum on April 27th, 2019 at 7:30PM as part of their Co-Lab 2018/2019 commission series. Special thanks to the Mertz/Gilmore Foundation, the Bronx Council of the Arts and Puffin Foundation for their generous support.
The audience’s senses will be engaged aurally as well as visually from the surrounding images produced by strategically positioned projectors throughout the space. The live music component is flexible and can consist of various ensemble configurations ranging from Jazz Philharmonic Orchestra (40-50 instrumentalists) to a Chamber Ensemble (13-20 instrumentalists).
